The network for families following successful
Assisted Conception
ACeBabes aims to provide a network of
regional family to family support groups across the country, providing
information for families after successful fertility treatment. Support
and counselling by health professionals are available to all couples
facing infertility and during treatment. As a result they can begin
to rely heavily on their support. Once a positive test is achieved,
this contact diminishes and couples are left trying to cope with a range
of emotions from joy at achieving a pregnancy, to fear and depression.

Friends of IVF
The Friends of IVF exist to support the
work of the IVF Unit, based at The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford,
The Committee is a group of volunteers
(both male and female) made up of past and present patients and representatives
from the Unit. Within this group there is a wealth of experience as
different patients have experienced different types of treatment cycles
and different outcomes, some successful and others not as fortunate.
The Committee meet every four to six weeks, at the Unit, to discuss
and plan all aspects of our Aims & Objectives to enable us to further
the work undertaken at the Unit.
